The temperature in the room was too warm and no one could come to adjust it.

Was a nice renovated old building, very comfortable. The free breakfast and the evening cocktails are very nice touch, and Kenny behind the bar was wonderful! Unfortunately, our ceiling vent for the air conditioner was leaking all night even though I maintenance man came to drain the pan at about 1030. we put a trashcan under it and it was fine, and when we notified the staff, they were quite apologetic and added some points back to her account. We understand these things happen, and I believe the staff did a good job as best they could addressing it.

Pros:It was nice and quiet. The pool renovations are done. The pool and hot tub both have handicap features too. Great value for my stay in Palm Desert!

Cons:My showerleaked water had chipped porcelain and mold in the grout, could use some sprucing up.

Cons:The pool was closed which was the only reason I picked this hotel. Apparently they stated this on their website, but it was not listed on Kayak or priceline. Once we got there, it was non refundable, and at 108 degrees it was a miserable trip with no pool. The movies and TVs didn't work well. Just overall not good. And I have never complained about a hotel before, but this was a uniquely bad experience.

Pros:We arrived to a beautiful lobby and were quickly checked in to our room. The hotel had a complimentary happy hour at the time of arrival. Our two room suite was spacious, clean, and nicely decorated, and felt like a great deal for the price. Our room was quiet, and the complimentary breakfast in the morning had a great selection. We were only a few miles from shopping centers, and just feet from a Starbucks. Would definitely return.

Pros:One of the worst hotel stays ever. No wonder TripAdvisor rates them 22 of 23 hotels in Palm Desert. I can't imagine there could be one worse. I paid an extra amount to reserve two beds -- for physical reasons since it was two males traveling and one of them has a broken elbow that can't be touched. But they had no two-bed rooms and basically said sure we overpaid but tough
Cons:I had to get my attorney involved with the Getaway in order to get a refund at the horrible place (which is undergoing a huge renovation) which I didn't see on their listing. The worst of the worst.
