10.0 Wonderful
Pros:Great location! Tons of cool stuff/ bars/ shops museums within walking distance. The whole boat was just an amazing overall experience. Staff genuinely seemed to care, room was incredibly clean.

Pros:Check in was efficient and the location is right in the middle of old town Sacramento. Very conveniently located to shops, dining, the new Golden 1 Center. The music at the bar was nice and seemed like a nice place to have dinner. We stayed one night to meet up with family and friends for a Kings basketball game.
Cons:As expected for a river boat, the rooms are small, and I would recommend a river view room. The sound from adjacent rooms, overhead and hallway is significant which does impact your sense of privacy. The radio didn't work and only had a CD player, no mp3 or phone connectivity. Overall, our one night stay was pleasant.

Pros:It was a working River Boat +70 yrs ago and has been converted to a first class hotel. Locations and ambiance are wonderful. Woke up in the morning to geese swimming outside our bedroom window, not downtown city/traffic noises!
Cons:Bathroom needed some TLC work.

Pros:The photo on hotel.com was not the room I received at all. The room was extremely small and a full sized bed, not a queen. Overall it was quaint, adorable, and perfect for me. If it had been a night with my husband, I'm not sure we would fit.

Pros:This is my second overnight stay on the Delta King. Love the atmosphere, good food, friendly staff, the price is right, and I've always slept well on the water. Fifteen years ago my family celebrated our son's eighteenth birthday with an evening at a Delta King Murder Mystery dinner.

Pros:The location
Cons:Rooms to small for $147.+20 for vallet that was slow to return car. We stayed on 3rd deck, not a good choice.reception phone was loud waking us up. Last year we paid $220.00 for 4th deck, it was better, but way over priced. Next time i will try embassy suites.

Pros:I chose the Delta King because of its unique charm. I loved that it was in Old Sacramento which has cute stores, cobblestone streets, and old west buildings. As I crossed the cobblestone street and wooden platform railroad tracks to get to the boat I felt like I was going back in time. I was so excited because I love things that are off the beaten path. I loved all the charming details from the lamps to the faucet knobs, everything was antique.
Cons:The room was smaller than the pictures let on but cozy. The city view stateroom pictured had a desk, which I was excited about getting work done at. My room did not. The room was very dust and I am very allergic to dust. I checked in late so I tried to make it work. I ran my finger across the phone and the bed frame and they both had a thick layer of dust. The triple lamp over the bed did as well. I didn't sleep well because of the dust. I very nicely asked if someone could dust and change the sheets due to my allergies and the man at the desk seem to take it personally. When I came back later that day, they had made the bed, but not changed the sheets, even though I had left the "change the sheets" sign on the bed. The breakfast voucher is for a very specific breakfast off of their menu. If you want something else the voucher does not apply. Though they were very nice about my egg allergy and gave me yogurt as a substitute. Since the walkways are very narrow, people walk very close to the walls and thus it is very loud. Especially on the weekend when other people are drunkenly walking around the train station. Overall I love the idea, there are just some rough edged that really bring back life in the 1940s.
