Pros:Great hotel if you're needing to stay somewhere before or after arriving in Richmond. Not a place to stay for vacation. Proximity to the airport is great.

Pros:New decor is pleasing, bathroom shower had luxurious feel
Cons:Staff was indifferent to guests and did not answer concerns with solutions. Staff did not greet me at the front when I arrived to check in but instead I had to wait for them to finish their task then just rudely pointed to a sign on the wall stating that check-in is not until 3 and I can wait in the lobby or come back later then resumed her paperwork. Room was newly renovated but the hard floors made the room echo loudly. Room has microwave but after trying to use it, it blew the surge protector. Front desk was notified and we were told that no maintenance personnel was on duty and there was nothing they could do but move us into a smaller room. A maintenance man appeared unannounced to our room later telling us that all the rooms were having the same problem and if we wanted to use the microwave that the TV and fridge had to be disconnected while using the microwave. Bed was extremely uncomfortable, causing back pain the next day. This was my first and now last visit to a Best Western. I travel to this area often and try different hotels often but this one has been the worst I have stayed in yet. All the cosmetic remodeling does not make up for the poor service and lack of basic comforts.

Pros:I stay in this hotel when I have a very early morning flight (I live an hour from Richmond). The hotel is older, but well maintained and updated. The room has a refrigerator and plenty of outlets for laptops and phones. There is an exercise room and the breakfast layout was extensive. Staff are friendly and efficient.

Pros:Breakfast yogurt bar was exceptional (fresh fruit, granola, coconut, etc). It was awesome! Bed was sooooooo comfortable and price was good. Awesome location and friendly staff. No complaints. Room was spotless and in wonderful condition.
Cons:I did't get to use the outdoor pool while I was there.
