Although Huez doesn’t have its own airport, you can fly to Chambéry (CMF), which is located 39 miles from Huez. Lyon-Saint Exupery Airport is the most popular, with regular flights from American Airlines, JetBlue, Aer Lingus and other airlines departing from Ireland. The shortest flight to Huez from Ireland departs from Dublin and takes around 2h 10m.

SNCF is the only carrier operating train routes to Huez. The train journey from Huez to Montpellier takes 1h 21m and costs around €16 for a one-way ticket. When coming by train from Marseille, expect to pay about €16 for a 1h 25m trip.
