I had great experience with Lufthansa, KLM and Air Canada flying out of PDX. like both Frankfurt or Amsterdam as a connecting airport. (Paris is an honorable mention)
Verified travelerFlew with British AirwaysBUD-LHRAug 2024
Everything was fine regarding the actual flying. The only thing that was annoying is the quite long line and wait time at the check-in. BA policy is good and somewhat better than some other airlines ridiculously strict and limiting baggage rules. Heathrow is a giant airport, so those who are connecting should know that it takes a long time (almost 2 hours) to change terminals. There are lots of passengers, the shuttles are packed to the gill, and the buildings are huge, so long walking is necessary. Although the security is going pretty fast, there is no time to look around, so as long as people are aware of it, it is fine. I think one of the best and most passenger-friendly airport in Europe is Schiphol in Amsterdam.

I wish I had known that I could be forced to check in my carry on for the entire trip. Bangor airport was fantastic, people there really tried to help us in any way possible
Verified travelerFlew with British AirwaysBUD-LHRJun 2024
Leave enough time for transfer! Especially when changing from T3 to T5. Heathrow is gigantic
MarinaFlew with British AirwaysBUD-LHRJun 2024
Heathrow airport is very inefficient and complicated to get around. You need at least an hour and 20 minutes between your flights to make any connection in time. I don’t think I’ll ever do any connections there in the future. Flying into it is fine if that is your final destination.
CindyFlew with British AirwaysBUD-LHRJun 2024
Ensure you’re in the right queue. We asked three different airport staff and were told to join the wrong queue
Verified travelerFlew with British AirwaysBUD-LHRApr 2024
Try to avoid having the airline cancel the 2:00 pm flight and make you get up at 4:00 am in order to make the 7:00 am flight

Boarding was fine, crew professional but not very friendly. Seats are very tight & uncomfortable. 1h delay due to crew change and mechanical issues - no communication whats going on.

Crews are great, chill, good snack sets on offer, I didn't feel they play any annoying budget airline games. I will probably fly with Wizz every chance I get it

If you don't want to pay a lot at check in desk, you need to use online check in tool, but you still need to go to check in desk to have it printed out. Then what's the meaning of "online check in"? Extra security check, as if 9/11 just happened!

After adding baggage costs, and considering the necessity to re-checkin at each stop, and the €50 I was tricked out of for the ridiculous 3 hour min check in, I’ll never fly this very hungry Hungarian airline again!

This airline is routinely voted the worse airline in Europe for good reason. If you have an option, just avoid them.

Everything was great until it came time to pick up our luggage. We arrived in orly airport terminal 1, our luggage arrived in terminal 2. No signs to tell us, we waited for almost an hour before someone figured it out.

All in all is not bad, but the boarding by walking outside in the airport airplanes area in the wind and rain to go up the stairs to board the plane that’s too much inconvenient. Hopefully that will change and we use the normal gates at the airport to board the plane! Thank you!

The plane was 5 1/2 hours late. Scheduled for 19.50 take off - Actual take off 01.30am

The flight was delayed again. I had a bad experience with Wizz Air, and I don't want to travel with them again.

Wizz is the worst airline in the world, The firm behavior is similar to the Italian mafia, For booking, check in at the desk and not on line that charge 48euro each, the truly that was included in the confirmation is only half way the continuous flight after the connection is not included although ordered together as on flight with one stop,(no direct flight), they asked for another 58euro each, unbelievable behavior of the staff, actually you feel threatened by them, as I said Italian mafia. Last time ever in my life. Keep out of this airline and enjoy your vacation.

Was late but that airport/storm fault. Flight was full but comfortable. Food quite nice. Unfortunate that I had a rather miserable attendant, others were much friendlier

Changed flight terminals/gates twice. The staff and hospitality was good.

Boarding was efficient. Flight left on time. Wasn’t full so we could spread out a bit. Food was ok.

Used to be my "go to" airline but would be my last choice these days. I think some of the cabin crew believe it would be a great job if it wasn't for the customers.

I love travelling with British airways because everything is supper goog

Not that great. There were no entertainment screens, internet, or any way to track the flight path. The seats were fixed in order not to recline at all. The crew and the staff at the check-in counters were the only nice thing.

Experience was good. Could have been better if we didn’t have to board an hour before the flight to ghana and miss relaxing time in the lounge. That process was very stressful

my flight was canceled and rescheduled for two days later

They oversold and down graded me from Premium economy to coach. 75-pound compensation is insufficient if you chose a particular class. I get dehydrated and severe Charley Horse cramps. I requested a bottle of water, even half even less… but no- “We are only allowed to give water by the glass. Nonsense. Lastly, their planes now have a fixed barrier between seats. So even if your entire row is empty, you are confined to just your space. Lastly, London now requires a transit visa for $30 for US citizens. Never travel through London again

I love British Airlines but I think it’s time for a change. My seat was occupied by very large passengers sitting next to me,I felt very uncomfortable and very bad.I’m sorry but I have to say it.
