Cabin was pitch black, even during meal service. The reading lights for seat 2E/F did not work, and seat 2E did not recline.
The seat seemed roomy, the service was good, everything was fine.
Was realllly smooth. It was delayed but we were well informed.
The senior flight attendants were amazing. Totally different vibe from other carriers. Easy 10 hour flight in Business Class. Great food. Good humor as well.
Delayed by 2.5hrs any longer and they would’ve had to honour their own policy for breaking their own rules and regs. Not cool, especially when I have an infant child that needs to stay on a routine and they get schedules.
The width of the chair is very small. Not comfortable at all.
Flight delayed over three hours. Arrived into SFO during rush hour and what would have been a one hour drive home took more than 2 hours. Very poor UNITED AIRLINES!!
I found that it seems that the space for personal bags or luggage is not enough( the cabinets for personal bags or luggage over the seats) .
service was slow and at times there was no service at all in premium plus seats. they do not care about people in premium plus
To san Francisco it was ok. From sf to Manila it was horrible
Liked - efficiency of boarding with 2 jetways. Checkin was with kiosks with helpful and plentiful workers to help with the process. Munich airport security was very automated, efficient and effective. Free wine and beer! Cons - food was only okay in economy class. Plane bathrooms could have been cleaner.
Disappointing. Too many let-downs, in delays and communication, by both Lufthansa and Discover to put in an email. I am resigned to the fact that this is what I should expect from all airlines. Unfortunately.
Crew were professionals. However, the plane seats are too small -essentially there is no space to move around which for so many hours is almost inhuman but certainly unacceptable. Same with the bad quality of food and the fact that you need to purchase Wi-Fi
Sorry, I’m not a fan of United. The seats are just too cramped and uncomfortable if you are traveling very far.
I think it was a United A380 plane. The trip from Munich to Denver was about 12 hours and the preferred economy seat I paid $75 for was very cramped. The crew was nice but I was so uncomfortable and getting up to walk around didn’t really help. My legs were swollen for 4 days afterward. I would think on such a long trip the seats would have more room. I would have gone 1st class but it was 3-4 times more expensive. I won’t fly anywhere far away again. My last experience with Lufthansa was great to Italy and back, but this time I could swear everything was United and not good.
Boarding was total chaos. They didn’t know what they were doing and taking bus to the airplane is like going back in time. The food is bad, portions are very small and we don’t get simple paper napkins! Is it really that bad?
Because of the fog at the Frankfurt airport, our flight was delayed leaving Budapest. We only had 20 minutes to get from A23 to C13. This was quite a walk for this not-so-young anymore lady--even with the help of moving sidewalks! We also had to go through passport control and then security. Germany is extra thorough, even doing pat-downs of all passengers. We got to our gate and I knew I had been randomly selected for extra security scanning because of the "SSSS" code on my boarding pass so I wasn't surprised when he escorted me back to security to be searched some more. The boarding gate gentleman assured me that they would hold the plane. The ladies in security rushed through the scanning process as fast as they could and we were able to make our flight to Orlando. The actual flight was smooth and comfortable. The food and service were excellent. The flight crew were friendly and efficient.
Great crew dealing with the most unprepared family with a million kids and zero sense.
We were disappointed not to be able to buy out preferred seat from date of my original booking, which was about 40 days before the trip. When we arrived in Hannover on the Oct 10 I tried every day and the weed site said I have to wait until ck in, did that and still was not able to. Get to the airport and out seats were separate from each other. The crew was able to get seats together, was not the most comfortable. Don’t understand why this happened.
Actual flight was smooth but we were delayed 70 minutes. Were promised to make it up to us but were given no refreshments
Flight was fine, food better than anticipated and flight attendants were helpful and friendly.
Our headphone plug is broken, we can not enjoy our entertainment, especially traveling with 5 year old who like to watch movie
It was good but I wished if they could have sign do not disturb if we did not wanted any meals . I was tired and slept through the entire flight and woke up just before landing .being hungry Too late to ask for something to eat before exiting the flight . Left feeling hunger 🙁
Pleasant, attentive and efficient flight attendants. Boarding process and seat selection easy. No internet on transatlantic flight. Extremely uncomfortable, rigid seat.
The seats of the Boeing 787-10 Dreamliner were ridiculously uncomfortable. I was on 10 flights during this vacation and this plane was super uncomfortable both times I was on one whereas all of the others were perfectly fine. Additionally, these planes do not have any air vents that passengers can control, the climate is entirely controlled by the crew which made for an extremely uncomfortable temperature for the duration. The flight attendants tried to make everyone happy with the temperature but several people you could tell were excessively warm and just wanted a bit of airflow.
Don't fly thru London Awful and huge U need 4 hrs to transfer cuz u have to tale buses to and fro from airplanes Bad business
I'm a world traveler for the 30 years. The WORST AIRPORT i've ever been in Totally over booked They shuttle u around MANY TIMES TO GET to planes and gates They over book and have massive delays Will never fly BA again
Staff with low service level, forgetful. Temperature at 15 C and after asking twice to raise the temperature the crew did nothing.
I was disappointed with the quality of the food for an international flight also I wasn't given a toiletry bag which is customary in international flights.
They had about 20-25 people overbooked. Including me. Why is this?? I was put on a flight to NC an hour later with a 4 hour layover. I was supposed to be home at 1045am instead i was home at 7:30pm. An extra day to pay for dog care.
