3 hours late departure with no explanation. $160 luggage fee (two passengers) for less than 1 hour in the air!
I bought a ticket from Brussels to Fort Lauderdale, Florida, USA via Montreal. When I went to the airport, I learned that I needed a Canadian visa. When I bought the ticket online, there was no warning saying "If you are not a US or Canadian citizen; You need a Canadian visa." I asked for my money back, but the staff at the airport said they couldn't help me. I said, "Make the ticket open, I'll fly later," and they said no. I looked for this information on Air Canada's website. They've hidden it so well that it's impossible to find it easily. I understand that Air Canada makes millions of dollars in unfair profits by selling tickets this way. Why don't they ask when purchasing? They don't ask; because they're making money. Every year, perhaps thousands of tickets are subject to this situation. I will use all my rights and complain everywhere. Maybe they won't give me my money back, but I would advise anyone buying ticket to be careful from now on.
Awful. Late. Basic. Phone charger jacks didn't work. No entertainment No coffee even.
The aircraft was very spacious and comfortable. Loved that the rows were more spread out.
Staff were amazing but there check in machines need a major update! Absolutely horrible machines the staff were so sweet and helped but everyone. Was in need of help. They need to update it
One of the female flight attendants was clearly racist. not willing to answer to a simple question: confirm my seat, as the boarding pass was not clear. I'm not ready to forget her look full of disgust. I fly regularly, I'll make sure to avoid this German company
My place was cancelled at the last minute throwing my traveling schedule off. I barely made it on the last ferry home.
Boarding was good. In cabin Service was perfunctory. Cabin crew were professional but not welcoming. Was very surprised there was not once were the passengers offered water overnight. A first for me on a trans Atlantic flight!
The plane was unusually hot and everyone was fanning themselves - very uncomfortable! My pull down tray was dirty and should have been cleaned. The flt attendants were pleasant.
Even though the flight was an hour and a half late ( unforeseen maintenance problems) every was great.
