Service was okay. Food was okay. I selected a window seat in the 36th row and someone took it upon themself to change it to an aisle seat in the very last row!!!
Liked - efficiency of boarding with 2 jetways. Checkin was with kiosks with helpful and plentiful workers to help with the process. Munich airport security was very automated, efficient and effective. Free wine and beer! Cons - food was only okay in economy class. Plane bathrooms could have been cleaner.
I flew from Brussels to Munich, then from Munich to Denver. The flight from Brussels was only about 2.5 hours and it was okay. But the flight from Munich was about 12 hours and we sat on the plane for a very long time after everyone boarded. I paid something like $75 for a “preferred” seat in economy and it was so cramped my knees rubbed against the hard shell pocket. You couldn’t turn your legs to the side because the passenger next to you was too close. I was on the aisle but couldn’t put my leg out because there was often traffic or carts. Maybe I’m expecting too much but on such a long flight I’d like to see more comfortable seats. I think it was a United A380 plane. I won’t be flying anywhere that far away again. My legs and feet are still swollen 4 days later.
Did not happen. Cancelled and rebooked on flight to Frankfurt and then to Berlin. Lost luggage at Frankfurt change.
Flight was cancelled and I got rebooked with anther airline. Also had booked a direct flight and got a layover.
Did not fly to Houston as original flight was cancelled.
Zero legroom or space in economy. Flight was delayed into Munich causing a missed connecting flight and other missed bookings. :(
Connecting from Germany with not enough time to go thru TSA and security so many times. Kayak or whomever doesn’t leave you enough time between flights. I made it with 5 min before my zone was called. Too stressful
Lufthansa crew are great Frankfurt to Raleigh RDU North Carolina USA
Delay before takeoff, ran out of protein options for the meal served, waited on the tarmac upon landing for and hour, waited in corridor for people mover for 45 minutes and still waited at baggage claim for over 30 minutes. This was after Lufthansa cancelled our flight to Frankfurt. Will definitely be my last option when booking overseas flights.
