I liked BA land team for boarding, the food, entertainment should be considered to be improved
The flight was okay, but legroom was tight for me and I’m only average height, although at 30” legroom is comparable with most other airlines. Not much room in the aisle either making the trek to and from the toilet difficult with passengers standing in the aisle. On the whole, it’s probably on a par with budget airlines and the ticket process extremely competitive.
Even the carry-ons were not allowed and upon getting down, we had the wait for the longest time for the baggage to put on the jet aisle. We had a short connection which British Airways kept changing and made out entire experience poor. I would never fly BA again.
Easy and quick check in, clean and nice seats. Overall excellent experience.
On board was excellent—a remarkable positive change. Check in was horrifying. Forced to check in branded cabin baggage approved bags weighing 10 and 12 kgs each, because desk insisted these were not fit for overhead lockers. Got charged £160 for two bags. Behaviour of staff was hostile, motivated and rude. Wonder if BA pays commissions on collection, or borrows staff from Airport operator. Basle evidently is an airport used by budget airline— and customers are treated like consumers.

Flight delayed and we were forced to check our carryon bags which was huge inconvenience.
Sardine can herringbone layout in business class. Uncomfortable and nowhere to put your book, phone, headphones, etc. worst hard product ever, and the service and food aren’t good enough to make it worthwhile. Expensive garbage. British Airways purchased this thinking only about financials, clearly not customer experience. British Airways business class is the garbage truck of the skies. Hard pass!
